We all feel our best when we look our best. At the same time, most of us don't have enough hours in the day to be able to justify spending more than a few minutes on our daily make-up. If you are looking for a simple routine that will help you look great without taking up a lot of time, try out the items below. BB CreamMost of us do not need heavy foundation. If your skin is healthy, even if you have some minor blemishes, coating it in heavy foundation will do more harm than good. Instead, opt for a quality BB cream. Look for those that moisturize and offer SPF protection. My pick? Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream, $10.25 on Amazon. MascaraEveryone has beautiful eyes--I truly believe this. All shapes and colors are stunning; all you need to do is highlight them. Apply a layer of mascara each morning to help your eyes pop and appear more open. If your lashes are a little sparse, try a volumizing mascara to give them a little more oomph. My pick? Maybelline New York Volum' Express Falsies, $5.41 on Amazon. Eyebrow GelAny beauty guide released in the past several years has focused on eyebrows. But for most of us, penciling them in isn't needed. Instead, use a clear eyebrow gel to tame them and make them look more define. Just a few, quick swipes and you are good to go. My pick? Ardell Brow Sculpting Gel, $3.89 on Amazon. Lip StainA pop of color on your lips is a great way to help your look come to life, but few of us enjoy the upkeep throughout the day. Lips stains allow you to avoid this by giving you lip color that really lasts, even through eating and drinking. You might need to touch it up once during the day, but that is minimal compared to traditional lip colors. My pick? [TONYMOLY] Delight Tony Tint, $9.80 for three different shades on Amazon.

One of the benefits of working at home is that you don't actually have to get dressed in the morning. Pajamas at work? Don't mind if I do! At the same time, sticking to PJ's and lounge wear all the time isn't the best way to build your confidence, which will ultimately have an impact on the quality of your work. My solution? Opt for comfy, casual styles that feel great and look great. Check out my staple items below. CardigansI adore cardigans. They can be casual or dressy, depending on how you wear them, and they can help to make an ordinary t-shirt or tank top look great. I am particularly fond of knitted cardigans in the wintertime. No matter what, I always keep one close by in case I need to video conference with a client; it instantly makes my look more professional. Tanks and TeesAlways comfy, I definitely prefer these to dressier tops. With my cardigan close by, it is easy to make these look more professional than they ordinarily are. And with the right accessories, such as a statement necklace or a nice scarf, they can look great even without the cardigan. Maxi Skirts and DressesMaxis always look dressy, but when you opt for stretchy material, they are super comfy as well. As soon as I put these on, I feel like a million bucks. Great for conferencing, picking up my son from school, or just lounging around the house, I keep quite a few on rotation. Palazzo PantsThis is a more daring option than the maxis, and it certainly isn't for everyone. However, it is a very trendy look that is as comfy as it is stylish. If you aren't sure about this trend, go for plain options instead of prints. Palazzo pants offer the same flexibility as maxis with the convenience of pants. Where to BuyIf you are going to work from home, you are going to need somewhere to work. Keep in mind that this doesn't need to be a super fancy place. In fact, there are plenty of ways you can work a home office into your current set-up. Below are some of my favorite ideas for setting up a quick and simple home office. Set Up Behind the CouchThis idea from Apartment Therapy is one of my favorites. You can easily use this table as your desk and then use it for extra seating when you are entertaining. It also keeps you from feeling isolated from your family and makes it easier to work at home while watching the kids. Use an Occasional Table Over the BedPurchase it at Ikea or make it yourself using this DIY guide from Rhody Life. This is an excellent solution if you are tight on space, enjoy breakfast in bed, or even want an option that makes it easier to work when you aren't feeling well. Personally, I love it because in my area of Mexico, the homes have no heat and get super cold in the winter; I can heat my bedroom with a space heater and stay toasty all day. Place Your Desk at the End of Your BedThis fantastic idea, featured by Jennifer Rizzo, allows you to work your work space into your bedroom or guest bedroom. I love that the desk functions both as a space for work and as a footboard. What Ideas Do You Have?Do you have a home office you love or want to share some inspiration you have found online?
