One of the benefits of working at home is that you don't actually have to get dressed in the morning. Pajamas at work? Don't mind if I do! At the same time, sticking to PJ's and lounge wear all the time isn't the best way to build your confidence, which will ultimately have an impact on the quality of your work. My solution? Opt for comfy, casual styles that feel great and look great. Check out my staple items below. CardigansI adore cardigans. They can be casual or dressy, depending on how you wear them, and they can help to make an ordinary t-shirt or tank top look great. I am particularly fond of knitted cardigans in the wintertime. No matter what, I always keep one close by in case I need to video conference with a client; it instantly makes my look more professional. Tanks and TeesAlways comfy, I definitely prefer these to dressier tops. With my cardigan close by, it is easy to make these look more professional than they ordinarily are. And with the right accessories, such as a statement necklace or a nice scarf, they can look great even without the cardigan. Maxi Skirts and DressesMaxis always look dressy, but when you opt for stretchy material, they are super comfy as well. As soon as I put these on, I feel like a million bucks. Great for conferencing, picking up my son from school, or just lounging around the house, I keep quite a few on rotation. Palazzo PantsThis is a more daring option than the maxis, and it certainly isn't for everyone. However, it is a very trendy look that is as comfy as it is stylish. If you aren't sure about this trend, go for plain options instead of prints. Palazzo pants offer the same flexibility as maxis with the convenience of pants. Where to Buy
